Singapore, 14 September 2026 – Brief showers fell over a few parts of Singapore today. As at 5pm, the 1-hr PM2.5 concentration readings were 56 – 115 µg/m3, in Band 2 (Elevated), and the 24-hr PSI was 88 – 117, in the Moderate to Unhealthy range.
Update on Hotspot and Haze Situation
2 Due to a shift in the prevailing winds to blow from east-southeast, moderate to dense smoke plumes from fires in Kalimantan drifted towards Singapore. Some smoke haze was also observed to drift from southern Sumatra.
3 Dry conditions are forecast over Singapore and the surrounding region in the coming days. With the prevailing winds forecast to continue blowing from the southeast to east-southeast, Singapore will likely be affected by smoke haze. The 24-hr PSI for Singapore is forecast to be in the High Moderate – Mid Unhealthy range.
