Singapore, 26 September 2026 – It was dry over Singapore today. As at 5pm, the 1-hr PM2.5 concentration readings were 39 – 66 µg/m3, in (Band 1, Normal / Band 2, Elevated), and the 24-hr PSI was 69 – 93 in the Moderate range.
Update on Hotspot and Haze Situation
2 Moderate to dense smoke haze from fires in Kalimantan drifted towards Singapore. Smoke plumes were also observed to emanate from fires in southern Sumatra.
3 While some showers are forecast over Singapore and parts of the surrounding region overnight and tomorrow, dry conditions are expected to continue over southern Sumatra and the southern and eastern parts of Kalimantan. There could be a risk of smoke haze affecting Singapore as the prevailing winds are forecast to blow from the southeast or southwest. The 24-hr PSI for Singapore is forecast to be in the Moderate to Low Unhealthy range.
