Singapore, 24 September 2026 – Some showers were observed over the northern parts of Singapore in the afternoon today. As at 6pm, the 1-hr PM2.5 concentration readings were 17 – 27 µg/m3, in Band 1 (Normal), and the 24-hr PSI was 62 – 76, in the Moderate range.
Update on Hotspot and Haze Situation
2 Dry conditions persisted over parts of Kalimantan and southern Sumatra, with moderate to dense smoke plumes observed from fires in these areas.
3 While showers are forecast over Singapore and parts of the surrounding region tomorrow, dry conditions are expected to continue over the southeastern parts of Sumatra and the southwestern parts of Kalimantan. There could be a risk of smoke haze as the prevailing winds are forecast to blow from the east-southeast or southeast. The 24-hr PSI for Singapore is forecast to be in the Moderate to Low Unhealthy range.
